I’m kicking off a new website…

Everything I do is DIY. So here I am struggling to start this new virtual platform where maybe I can sell a few of my wooden bowls in order to pay for all the tools I’ve been hoarding.

Woodturning is addicting. There are so many rabbit holes, so many tools, so many ideas to explore. But other than standing at the lathe reducing perfectly good wood into shavings, mainly, its about the tools.

Back to the website. I have no idea what I’m doing. If I can get a few pictures up, figure out how to communicate pricing and if I get lucky enough and sell some bowls, then it could be worth all the headaches learning how to build this thing. And maybe sometimes, we can talk “shop”, as in workshop, as in “blog” about it (something else I’ve never tried). Bottom line, I think it’s worth a shot.

If something looks weird, I probably know about it already and just couldn’t fix it. If it’s clunky to navigate, I apologize in advance. If you just want to come over and pick out a bowl, wait until Dr Fauci says it’s ok and then we’ll talk.
